'Social Enterprise With Teeth' Seminar

SCA Group and Hempsons are running a free seminar in London on March 19: "Social Enterprise with Teeth". The seminar is for any charities, social enterprises, community groups or other organisations who want to know more about how to offer dental services on a social enterprise model or who are already doing it.

SCA is a Southampton-based health and social care social enterprise that has six successful dental practices in Hampshire offering a mix of NHS and private dental services. Hempsons is one of the leading providers of legal services to existing and emerging dental social enterprises in the UK.

The seminar takes place on March 19 2012 from 13.30pm to 16.30pm at Hempson’s House, 40 Villiers Street, London WC2N 6NJ. It will offer a chance for networking plus expert advice on the legal, professional and practical aspects of social enterprise dentistry in the UK.

Speakers will include Hempsons Partners Ian Hempseed, Ross Clark and Chris Morris as well as SCA CEO Maria Mills, Director of Social Enterprise Development at SCA Matt Jarratt, and Barbara Pearce, SCA’s Director of Dentistry.

SCA’s Chief Executive Maria Mills said social enterprise dentistry has the potential to improve services significantly for vulnerable groups.
