New Forest Patient and Carers’ Resource Centre
The Patient and Carers Resource Centre exists to provide a central point of access to appropriate information about health and related services, with the aim of leading to increased understanding which will help people feel in control of their own health and treatments, together with supporting carers in their role.
The services offered by the Centre are available to everyone, not only to patients. People may have questions about a particular health issue, or need to find the name of a support group.
Whatever the question, the Centre is there to help. Health and social care staff are also able to access the centre and will be involved in approving sources of information on our database, together with agreeing appropriate signposting.
The Centre is run on a voluntary basis, with a local focus on services for the people using the Fenwick 2 Health and Wellbeing Centre.
