Fenwick2 Social Enterprise Health and Wellbeing Centre in Lyndhurst in the New Forest was nominated for a prestigious national award earlier this month. The nomination was for the way Fenwick2 works in partnership with local organisations and meets the needs of people from the local community.

The centre was short listed for a Best Social Care Partnership Award in the Community Partnership Awards 2010, and whilst they did not win, this is an still excellent achievement.  Fenwick2 has received the accolade because of its innovative services, such as the Early Stage Dementia project, the toenail cutting service for elderly people and the assisted bathing service for people who are unable to bathe themselves.
