Assistant Day Centre Manager, Southampton
Woodside Lodge Day Centre in Maybush provides services for older people with dementia type illnesses. Open for 6 days a week, the day centre is an important part of the local community and provides essential support for service users and their families.
You will provide support to the Day Centre Manager to enable smooth operation of this EMI day centre for older people in the west of the City. Experience of working with older people who have a dementia type illness is desirable, although not essential as training can be provided.
Good computer and administration skills essential. Applicants should have a NVQ 2 qualification; the post holder will be expected to work towards NVQ 3 if not already achieved.
