Support & Wellbeing Centres (Day Care)
Our Support and Wellbeing Centres provide activities and support for older people in different venues across Southampton. You can find out more about our Support and Wellbing Centres here.
Our Day Care Co-ordinators organise a small team of paid staff and volunteers in order to deliver a programme of fun and stimulating activities for the centre members. You will also undertake some administration and record keeping duties.
Day Care Workers support the Co-ordinator with activities and help to ensure a warm welcome awaits our centre members.
Most of our vacancies are part time. You do not need any qualifications but must be organised and enthusiastic. Experience of working with older people is preferred, experience can be from your previous career, or from informal caring for a relative or friend. We provide full training and ongoing support.
