Personal Care

SCA can provide assistance to help wash, bath, shower and dress etc., at flexible times throughout the day and week, in response to individual needs. We can also tailor the length of the calls to the required length of time and work with the service user, to encourage independence and work towards a desired set of goals in this area. 

Personal care can be accessed through Adult Services (Hampshire or Poole), who will undertake both a needs assessment and a financial assessment to ensure the eligibility criteria is met. If this is unsuccessful, or you would prefer to purchase services direct, then a private agreement with SCA can be made. Potential service users will still experience the same level of service, as all of our personal care services are regulated under the Care Standards Regulations 2000 and are inspected regularly by the Commission for Social Care and Inspection.

This service is available in the Southampton, New Forest and Poole areas.
