Extra Night Care Service

The Extra Night Care Service exists to provide short term practical emergency care to those in need, in order to prevent hospital admission, and is run from our New Forest office based at Fenwick2.
The situations for which our service may be required may include the following:
~ To support palliative care (e.g. turning)
~ Incontinence
~ Assisting someone up after a fall
~ Safety check visit to someone just discharged from hospital
The service is available to residents of the New Forest who are over 18 and who have been referred by one of the following only:
~ Out of Hours GP Service
~ District Nursing Services
~ Out of Hours Adult Services
~ 999 Services
Note: We do not take self referrals.
The service operates from 9pm to 7.30am, 7 days a week and is available as a one off, or for a maximum of 3 visits.
