EXTRA CARE HOUSING IN LYMINGTON
The Extra Care Housing was designed to enable those people who had already moved in to sheltered accommodation, the chance to remain there as their physical health deteriorated.
By supplying care workers who would deliver personal care, shopping, domestic and companion services as a single package of care, care would be more 'joined up' for the service user, and prevent admission to residential care for as long as possible.
This service is available to residents who live within a one mile radius of Lymington town centre in sheltered housing, including residents in private accommodation within the same geographical boundary.
This service is delivered through partnership working with the Lymington Adult Services and the New Forest District Council. Access to the service is via Lymington Adult Services.
