We support people in a number of ways
Advocacy means getting support from another person to help you express your views and wishes, and to help make sure your voice is heard. Someone who helps you in this way is called your advocate.
Our Advocates at SCA provide support and guidance on a wide range of issues.
Ways we can help
We take action to help you say what you want, secure your rights, represent your interests and obtain the services you need. We work in partnerships with you to make this happen. We put our own personal beliefs aside and represent your views without judgement or prejudice.
We can help you to stand up for your rights when you experience problems around family, relationships, finance issues, benefits, complaints, adult protection, child protection, bullying, lasting power of attorney, as well many others.
We will work with you to understand what you need to achieve and ensure you get all the information and support needed to resolve the difficulties you are facing.
Who we can help
We receive money from certain councils to pay for people to use our advocacy service. To see if we can support you please get in touch with us on 07739 951 715 or fill out the referral form which you can download from here.
