SCA Group Board
The SCA Group is governed by an experienced and skilled Board of Members led by the SCA Group Chair, Mike Morgan.
Mike Morgan, SCA Group Chair:
Mike Morgan joined the SCA Board in 2002 and was elected the SCA Group Chair in 2007. Mike first became involved with SCA when he engaged in voluntary advocacy work. He was then invited to join SCA's Board as a Trustee. Previous to working for SCA, Mike worked within the private sector in both South Africa and the UK, most notably as Managing Director of BTR plc engineering subsidiaries, in both the south and north east of England.
Within his role with SCA he has worked with disadvantaged people through advocacy work, sits on the Transport Advisory Group and has contributed to the overall growth of the group. Mike also Chairs the SCA Trafalgar General Dental Board.
George Dibben, SCA Group Vice-Chair / Secretary:
George is the SCA Group Vice-Chair and Chair of the SCA Fenwick2 Board. In addition George is Chair of the League of Friends of Fenwick2.
George, a qualified Civil Engineer, has been involved with a number of SMEs including leading the acquisition of Cornerstone Estate Agencies from Abbey National and founding the regional radio station Wave 105.
Within his role with SCA he liaises with a number of stakeholders, including local politicians, health professionals and other local authorities. He also takes a role in developing the strategic direction of the Fenwick2.
Ray Hallett, SCA Group Treasurer:
Ray is the SCA Group Treasurer and has been a Board Member since 1995. He is a qualified chartered accountant and the Director of Business Services for RSM Tenon who are the seventh largest firm of Accountants and Business Advisors in the UK.
As the Treasurer of SCA, Ray is responsible for making key financial and investment decisions for the Group. In addition, he is required to sign annual reports along with other financial documents and implementing strategic financial direction. Ray is also a member of the SCA Trafalgar Board.
Andrew Brooker, SCA Board Member:
Andrew Brooker was formerly Assistant Director Social Services (Hampshire), Andrew is now a Health & Social Care Consultant. Andrew joined the SCA Board in 2007 and also sits on the SCA Fenwick2 Board.
Les Judd, SCA Board Member:
Les Judd, former Health Authority CEO, now works for NHS Southampton City and is Chair of the Strategic Partnering Board of South West Hampshire LIFT. Les is also a member of the SCA Trafalgar Board. Les joined SCA in 2003.
Rev Canon Robin Morrison, SCA Board Member:
Rev Canon Robin Morrison is the Bishop's Advisor for Church and Society in Wales. Robin joined SCA in 1997.
Dr. Eileen Thomas (RGN, RHV, MA, PhD), SCA Board Member:
An accomplished NHS and charity director, Non-Executive Director and Trustee, Eileen is now an independent consultant and founder of Becoming a Patient - www.becomingapatient.com. Eileen joined the SCA Group Board in 2012 and is the Chair of the SCA Care Board.
Wendy Hughes, SCA Board Member:
Wendy is an experienced manager with eighteen years working in the regulation of social care and health care services for older people, younger adults, children and young people. Qualified social worker, with experience of working with children and adults with a learning disability, autism and associated challenging behaviour. Wendy presently works as an independent consultant and joined the SCA Group Board in 2012.
Keegan Wilson, SCA Board Member:
Media and communications professional with six years’ experience running a PR agency, managing a team and several clients. A trained journalist, experience includes creating and leading campaigns that improve B2B and B2C communications and grow customers’ businesses. Strong client-facing skills and creativity that has achieved great results from limited budgets, winning clients praise and awards. Recognised by PR Week as a ‘Green PR specialist’. Keegan joined the SCA Group Board in 2012.
Geraldine Dolan, SCA Board Member:
Geraldine Dolan (LLB) joined the SCA Group Board in 2012. Geraldine is currently employed at Wilsons Solicitors LLP in Salisbury and is Associate, Employment and Education Team. Geraldine has 15 years experience of practicing law and has extensive experience and interest in the not-for-profit sector both professionally and personally.
